Your safari guide will pick you up from Entebbe or Kampala and begin the scenic drive to Lake Mburo National Park.

Enjoy beautiful countryside views, traditional homesteads, and rolling hills. You will stop at the Uganda Equator for photos and refreshments before continuing to the park.

Arrive in the afternoon for an evening game drive where you may spot:

• Zebras
• Impalas
• Buffaloes
• Topis
• Warthogs
• Giraffes

Dinner and overnight at your lodge.

Begin the morning with a guided walking safari accompanied by an armed ranger. This is one of the few parks in Uganda where walking safaris are permitted.

Enjoy close encounters with wildlife and learn about animal tracks, birds, and vegetation.

In the afternoon, enjoy a relaxing boat cruise on Lake Mburo where you may see:

• Hippos
• Crocodiles
• Fish eagles
• Kingfishers
• Buffaloes along the shoreline

Later return to the lodge for relaxation.

After breakfast, depart Lake Mburo and continue southwest to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.

The journey offers spectacular scenery including terraced hills, tea plantations, local villages, and tropical forests.

Arrive in the evening and prepare for the next day’s gorilla trekking adventure.

After an early breakfast, head to the park headquarters for a briefing by Uganda Wildlife Authority rangers.

You will then enter the forest in search of a habituated gorilla family. The trek can take between 2–7 hours depending on the gorillas’ movement.

Once the gorillas are located, you will spend one magical hour observing them in their natural habitat.

This is one of Africa’s most powerful wildlife encounters.

After trekking, return to the lodge for relaxation and celebration.

After breakfast, begin your return journey to Kampala or Entebbe with lunch en route and another stop at the Equator for souvenirs and photography.

Drop-off at your hotel or Entebbe International Airport for departure.
