Kidepo Valley National Park
Remote, wild and wide open. Kidepo is Uganda's most remote park and, for many guides, its most beautiful. Golden grassland runs to rugged mountains near the South Sudan and Kenya borders, and you may have a whole valley to yourself.

The Narus Valley draws big buffalo herds, elephant, lion, zebra and Jackson's hartebeest, and Kidepo has species found nowhere else in Uganda, such as ostrich and, with luck, cheetah.
Visits to Karamojong homesteads add a strong cultural side. It is a long journey, so we recommend at least three nights.
Highlights
